Who We Are

Seeds of Hope works to relieve some of the pressure on faith-based and community-based organizations and social service agencies in southwest Kansas. SOH collaborates with a wide variety of community partners to help inmates and recently released individuals have safe, stable, and productive lives after incarceration. This benefits inmates and their families while making the communities they return to safer and reducing the cost of the criminal justice system.

We are an interdenominational 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization formed in 2005 to coordinate volunteer efforts in the Finney County Jail. The organization’s primary focus is providing instruction and mentoring to inmates inside the jail and helping them succeed after release. SOH also networks with other reentry programs around the state to provide assistance to those returning to communities outside our area and to those returning to our area from jails or prisons throughout the state.
